ABOUT ABOUT

George and Jill are joining forces for an afternoon of Pennsylvania Birds & Wine! George Armistead is our resident Birder Extraordinaire while Jill Weber is Jet’s owner and Wining Archaeologist. They will take you on a trip through Pennsylvania – from Lake Erie to the Schuylkill – featuring the Commonwealth’s prolific birds and finest wines. We’ll visit birding hot-spots like Presque Isle State Park and Hawk Mountain, and sample Viognier, Gruner Veltliner, and (among others) from PA’s finest wineries. Learn about birds and birding while tasting great wines, all at Jet Wine Bar with George and Jill!

Copies of George’s latest book, the American Birding Association Field Guide to the Birds of Pennsylvania (2015, Scott & Nix), will be on hand for purchase and signing.
