Argentine Wine Adventure!
Think Argentina is all about Malbec and Mendoza? Think again!
I have always wanted to travel the North-South length of Argentina's wine country, and here we'll explore wines from all along that route.
We'll start with the Salta specialty, bright and aromatic Torrontes. From there, we'll go to Mendoza for, yes big and fruity Malbec, but also for emerging favorite, Petit Verdot. Further south in La Pampa, we'll sample rich and ripe Cabernet Franc. Finally, we'll reach Patagonia and its version of Malbec!
Along the way we'll see mountains, deserts, salt flats, and llamas, and we'll meet the Huare.
This tasting will be led by Jill Weber, Jet's owner and our Wining Archaeologist. Let her guide you through 5 wines, exploring culture and landmarks along the way.
