While grapes are still on the vine in the Northern Hemisphere, t's winter in the Southern Hemisphere. Other than this reversal of seasons, does a country's hemispheric location (can I coin that?) have an affect on wine?
Come find out at our Global Vineyard Passport Series where, every third Tuesday, Bob Barrett, Certified Specialist of Wine, shares his knowledge with a guided tasting of five different wines. In this session, we'll taste "classic" grapes of the globe's southern half, as well as those more common to its northern half.
