Tasting Wines of Greece
Terroir formed by the dust of the ages, mythological creatures, pristine, blue waters...
Where am I? Greece: where the 9 muses mingle with the legacy of Hercules, Jason led the Argonauts on a journey for the Golden Fleece, and Helen's face launched 1000 ships.
It is also a land with a great history of wine and winemaking. In this tasting, we'll explore a bit of this ancient past through modern Greek wines.
We'll taste
- Domaine Vassiliou Retsina of Attica
- Domaine Karavitakis Little Prince White 2013, Chania, Crete
- Domaine Thymiopoulos "Boarding Pass" Malagouzia 2013, Central Greece
- Chateau Mercouri Lampadias Rose 2013, Ilia, Peleponese
- Gentilini Winery "Eclipse" Mavrodaphne 2012, Cephalonia
