Tasting Wines for Barbecue
Summertime is for the beach, picnics, and slabs of meat on the grill.
So, we're here to answer that age-old question, "What do I drink with my BBQ?"
BBQ can involve strong- and, sometimes, spicy- flavors, in hot weather. But, that doesn't mean you have to swap your wine for beer! We'll taste 5 wines that can stand up to the strength and spice of anything you throw at them.
In this all-red tasting (and a little pink) we'll have:
- Rose of Cannonau
- Mourvedre
- Zinfandel
- Pinotage
- Carmenere
This tasting is part of our Global Vineyard Passport Series where, every third Tuesday, Bob Barrett, Certified Specialist of Wine, shares his knowledge with a guided tasting of five different wines.
