Have fun exploring different grapes? So do we! And, we LOVE Petit Verdot.
Petit Verdot is often used in Bordeaux-blend wines, along with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. But, it is much more rarely used on its own. What a shame! Petit Verdot produces dark, inky, fragrant wines that are redolent of violets, black berries, plums, royalty, and all things purple.
We'll taste 5 different wines from 5 different terroir to really get a feel for the grape's distinctive qualities. Do you like Petit Verdot? Try these and see!
