Drink through Basque Country of Spain and France
Txakoli! Irouleguy! Rioja Alavesa!
These names are as fun to say as the wines are to drink.
We'll start with the fresh, slightly fizzy Txakoli wines of Getaria and Alava, and then sip the bright, high-altitude wines of the Rioja Alavesa. Crossing the Pyrennees, we'll finish with the fuller fruit and spice of the French Irouleguy.
We'll enjoy these five wines:
