Travel with us through the remarkable - though tragic - life of Joan of Arc (Jeanne d'Arc)!
How did a teenaged peasant-girl gain audience with King Charles VII and, subsequently, successfully lead an army to Orléans?
Find out as we follow her short life through her visions "from God", charges of cross-dressing, untimely death at the stake, sainthood, and commemoration as a heroine. We'll visit the scenes of her battles, trials, and an amusement park that retains one of her relics.
As always, these exploits will be accompanied by wines from regions and locales relevant (within six degrees!) to Joan's life and death.
We'll sample wines from:

- Pouilly-Fume
- Willamette Valley
- Lazio
- Chianti
This tasting will be led by Jill Weber, Jet's owner and our Wining Archaeologist. Let her guide you through 5 wines, exploring culture and landmarks along the way.
