Skip the whiskey this St. Paddy's Day...
...and drink wine to toast some amazing Irish women!
We'll meet 5, Irish women of science, history, and the arts, whose achievements aren't often found in history books, and toast to their achievements with wine! "But wait," you say, "what wine is made in Ireland?" We'll be tasting wine from wine regions of Irish Sister-Cities: Lazio, Catalunya, Central Coast (US), Franken, and the Loire Valley!
Join Jet's owner and Wining Archaeologist, Jill, to taste these great wines:
- Rainer Sauer, Müller-Thurgau Dry Estate (2018)
- Appia Antica 400, Lazio Bianco (2017)
- Olga Raffaut, Chinon (2017)
- Pares Balta, Indigena Red Penedes
- Troublemaker, Red Blend Lot 12 Central Coast
Our tastings will transport you to a different place and time as we delve into the history of the wine, the region, and the people who make it. Each class features 5 wines that we taste while discovering the fun facts and peculiar histories of each wine’s locale.
BONUS: A limited quantity of these bottles will be available for sale to-go!
Your ticket entitles you to our 5-wine tasting plus light snacks, as well as 15% off your evening's bar tab AND special pricing on bottles of the evening's wines (for to-go sales). Seating is limited.
