The Animal Kingdom is pretty well represented on wine labels. Dogs and horses dominate, but rhinos, lizards, and pigs all find form on wines from across the globe.
So what gives? Why do so many wines have animals on their labels? Research has shown that wines with animals on the labels do, in fact, sell better. Or, maybe in their alchemical efforts to transform grapes into wine, winemakers turn to animal spirits to guide them! Or maybe they are just animal lovers!
Whatever the reason, we are skipping the 'roo and bringing you these animal-toting wines to try:
